Unlike TR/IB, instead of banking a lot of the extra loot, we support and encourage our members in leveling up quality raiding alts by providing them with a lot of gear that would otherwise have been banked/sold/rotted. I know there were a few hella geared alts from TR/IB, but for the most part it didn't seem as widespread as it is with us these days. My monk is geared to the teeth outside of VP loot and it's really handy being able to sometimes choose which toon to bring to a raid without any resentment as to the quality of the character.
