Well, I hung out there for a while earlier...my ping went down, my #commands were working fine & The doors swung just fine so it's something else. Lets kill the usual suspects

UI?
Wireless?
Guildies (atleast 20 of them) are having the same problems. Seems to be fixed after a quick relog, but only for like 10minutes then the problem is back again.

Region in the US? Southeast (NC)
UI? Velious w/ new spell files for server
Wireless? No

Ping will sit at 50ish ms but the lag will be up to a minute for actions to take place. Over the course of a few hours my ping will creep up to 1000+ ms. Over a few more hours it will then go back down. It settled at about 650 ms.

If you successfully get out of permafrost, everfrost is perfectly fine.

Our vox kill went extremely smooth but nothing has changed.

A few people were still lagging out, though. Not sure what's up with the zone [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

This sounds extremely similar to a problem I am having with Sol A! It seems the longer I stay there the more likely I am to begin lagging terribly. Doors take 10+ seconds to open. I will pull a goblin and FD to split and they will beat on me while me client shows me as feigned for about 10 seconds before I get a fail message or they stop beating on me because it succeeded.

To answer your usual suspects questions:
Region: South Central US (TX)
UI: Default that came with Titanium. Followed all instructions on install, but I did not install the optional classic UI.
Wireless: No - My gaming computer is hooked up to my wireless router through an Ethernet cable.

Today I was able to function normally in permafrost.

The Ranger in the group, however, experienced crippling lag after being in-zone for about ~10 min or so. He is on Cox Communications (east coast) as an ISP. He has a physical, wired connection and uses the default Titanium UI. We did nothing out of the ordinary in our time in-zone; meditating, ordinary pulls of 1-2 goblins, chat, etc.

I left myself logged in running log checks overnight and the only errors that came back were 4 opcodes from the usage of WinEQ2. So, there isn't anything kickin in the background on test. I was sitting at about 84ms which is normal for me.

aye horrible lag tonight. It's wierd though.

Lag in tells, lag in spell casting, but opening doors doesn't seem bad.
