I would personally rather let the devs spend their time on velious development and any other live issues.

Yes, this would be neat... but very few would actually see it or care much(out of the total server population). The devs are unpaid volunteers and we should just be thankful for every bit of work they have done.... not ask them to do more work when Velious isn't ready.

I have addressed this point in the body of my initial post.

Yes, this might take time from devs that are otherwise occupied with Velious. Or, it might not. There are project bottleneck and what if a particular dev is idle? Or, what if one just really really wants to work on this event? Some people do enjoy variety in their work.

The point is that this is not impossible, and it is, in my opinion, a vital classic element that demands implementation.

you hacks are getting ridiculous:

You have been denied access to this forum. The reason is that you are visiting us from a place that has been blacklisted as an Open Proxy. You have to fix this, and return.

If you want to know exactly where you are blacklisted, go see www.tornevall.net/cgi-bin/ip.cgi.

reason: spam

It sounds like you have nothing productive to add to the discussion. "pls go"

That said, I'd like to hear more suggestions and ideas as to how these types of events might be made viable. I also had an idea for some of the other, smaller, artifacts. For The Qeynos Shield I began developing a small storyline that is doable by a single person. The idea would be to stealthily implement the quest without telling anyone and seeing what happens. It'd involve the corrupt guards and the SK guild versus Antonius Bayle and such, but I never really fleshed it out.

A great idea xasten. Xasten for custom-content-until-velious developer!
