When will people learn that these organizations mix legitimate news sources that they disagree with, alongside obvious fake, satire, and hateful news?

It's so blatant.

What I wanna know is: When did we collectively decide that the Southern Poverty Law Center was a legitimate source of information? As far as I can tell they popped up overnight and people just decided that they were meant to be taken seriously.

Also: I'm a progressive Bernie fanboi with a giant hardon for AOC but I still don't understand why the SPLC is a thing.
