Is anyone arguing that trump isn't known scum? I mean thats an established fact, absolute scum bag.
Brothers and sisters hating eachother is an actual plot against all plebs. But knowing that trump is scum and probably biden too thats just common sense.

It's just basic strategy. Human brains are really easy to manipulate, when someone with ill intent chooses to lie and deceive for their gains, it is very possible to do so. When I was like 5 years old I thought it was cool to think of ways to trick people. When I was like 7 years old I realized it was super lame and really easy to trick people.
In the west, we grow up with Good vs Bad, Cops vs Robbers, Us vs Them. It's a powerful tool and the state loves it because its pretty easy to portray any country you need to bomb as full of a bunch of "them's" Now these tools are easier than ever to deploy against ourselves to solidify state power. Both the left and right side of USA recognize that both of our parties fail to serve us and very clearly have their own best interests in mind when making decisions. This isn't acceptable in any other setting but for politics they do their best to give us no alternative, and then to scare us into voting again for "our kinda dirt bag" for fear that the OTHER side's dirt bag gets elected. The result is that both parties enjoy freedom to be absolutely shitty while we are looking over our shoulder for the trump guy or the anti fa guy that we were told is just about to bash our head in. The side benefit (to the evil guys that are seeking gain through all this) is that people have really predictable consumer behavior when we are uncomfortable and feeling unsafe, so its great for the value of some stocks. I think it's pretty basic, but just a big bummer. Side note: when it comes to Good vs Evil this is a really hard thing. I really do believe in Good and Evil and I really like lord of the rings and I like Sauron and Soromon being defeated. I'm not sure where I stand on these stories being actually good for us. Good triumphing is a great thing, but stories like this are used against us to stir up fervor in politics all the time and when we're dealing with american vs american it really isn't a Sauron vs Frodo situation. It's just people trying to figure things out. This is where it gets tricky for me, because I am reluctant to let go of these stories. The story of God vs the devil is often characterized this way, but in the Bible there is no struggle whatsoever, there is no epic battle, God utterly obliterates the devil with zero contest or trial at all. The epic battle is the tiny battles against evil that each of us have to face every day. The tiny victories we make, we are told are insignificant (by evil itself) in order to get us to give up. The reality is that the sum total of these tiny victories is how we actually improve our lives and the universe, and no other way. There is no grand magic on this earth that will finally make it all good and unite us all in truth and love and justice for all. We have to do those things every day, and then they happen. Doesn't matter what government policy is.
