Finally got it running, had to reinstall and be sure to install it in C: drive for sure. Anyone know how to get a nice full screen to play with? Have messed with the in game resolution but that only made the screen smaller, i want the actual window to be full if possible.

add patchme to the target of the shortcut like you do with P99. the login screen will be a hot mess but, the game will be in full screen.

option 2 is to resize the window to create pseudo fullscreen.

Where exactly do i add that patchme? When i right click the "eqw" file that launches eqmac, it doesnt give me a target box. Same with EQgame.

create a shortcut for eqgame.exe and add patchme to the target field in the properties window.

Thanks for the help, and i hate asking a ton of questions, but now i'm getting an error such as "Creat Surface (Primary) failed", after a google search some claim it has something to do with the colors, any idea?

I heard some people making noise about running in 16 bit color but, I run 32 bit just fine. I'm not sure how you set up your client but, this walkthrough should set you up with a stable client easy-peasy:

Thanks for the help, as much as i love the memories of the old ui, i think gameplay will go more smoothly with luclin. With that being said, after following suggestions on that thread, i am getting "EQW only supports 16 and 32 bit video modes", where in in the ini file is it located to change that?

eqw.ini

also make sure your display adapter is set to either a 16 or 32 bit mode in windows (i.e. no 24 bit or other wonky crap)
