I've not read the entire book series however from what I have read and little tidbits online; Layanna and Rhaegar according to the books didn't have a child. And, Layanna died in the tower after suffering some type of wounds and catching a fever. What the hell am I missing?

Is the child (*Jon Snow) only introduced in the TV series, or do I need to read the books and save face?

I'm satisfied... I try to remember this is just a TV show, that has been trying to wrap itself up. It can't possibly go into everything I would like it to. The only thing I'm really mad about is having to wait 2 years to see the ending.

Predictions for season 8:

1. Aegon will find out who he is on the first episode.

2. Daenerys will say she is pregnant by the 3rd episode.

3. Bran will worg a dragon....jk that's stupid. Bran will become a HUGE asset in season 8 and will be one of the characters that won't die.

4. Theon will some how magically not die, but his sister and uncle will and he will be weak ass king of the iron isle who WILL bend the knee to Aegon.

5. Arya and Sansa have a high chance of dying. If they don't they will become autistic and Bran will rename them to Hodor.

6. Varys will die.

7. Cersei isn't actually pregnant, she's been conning Jaimie and Tyrion with the lie.
8. Jon will at one point say about Daeny, after the reveal that they're related, these exact words, "But, I love her."
9. The Hound will find TRUE LOVE. Whatever that means for him!
10. Nerds will dislike season 8 more than any other season yet

is it though? Season 5 was clearly filler in hopes of having Book 6 ready so they could have more book material to go on. But when that didn't happen, they had to push on without the books. They finished season 6 as best they could without the books, and knew they book 6 would never be out in time to help them, so they were in way over their head and they decided they needed to wrap this show up asap.

I firmly expect this show to wrap up with a happy ending, maybe a scooby doo ending, but definitely not the bittersweet ending we've been promised.
