finally wrapping my head around bruckner 6. Once again the trick was seeing through the infectiousness of the scherzo and into the adagio, which just finally gave me a v high payoff nut.

I think it is kind of a popcorn symphony as far as Bruckner goes nevertheless (this is pretty refreshing considering the weight of 5, 7, 8, 9); I'm filing it adjacent to the boyish 4th, masterpiece of delicious male juvenalia, for now. That goshdarn scherzo is chewing up my brain all the time as his tend to do.
