Yikes. Taken out of context and the idiots believe it. The quote was "This isn’t my trade war, this is a trade war that should have taken place a long time ago, someone had to do it and I am the Chosen one."
Absolutely nothing to do with claiming he is God. Great spin though, keep it up.

What context calls for referring to yourself as 'the Chosen One?’ This isn't normal behavior.

Nice deflection.

And plenty. People say it all the time. "I'm the right guy for the job." "You've got the right man", "There's a problem and I'm the guy to fix it", "I was chosen for this part" "I was the chosen one for that role." You deem this as bad behavior, I deem this as someone trying to tackle a problem. Whether they are doing it right, is a different conversation. If you say that about yourself, you are confident, and find yourself as the right guy for the job. That's a good thing.

The right guy for the job is not the same as 'the Chosen One.’

Bad behavior or delusions of grandeur?

Technically the Democratic primaries aren't until February, and Trump would have to choose not to run for re-election.
The chances of him losing the nomination are non-existent.
