Can anyone name some things republicans have conserved over the past 30 years? What does it really mean to be a republican?

1. I have the impression c&r is an internationally agreed on rule for processing refugees. It may be being abused, I don't know, like Jimjam said rules always have unforseen consequences.

2. Conservatism is about retarding change not stopping it completely.
