Agreed but the definition of a mandatory buyback is crazy and what poked the sheriff in El Paso to say, that's stupid and there were more defensive uses of firearms than offensive crimes committed with firearms. Also pointed out that going door to door would cause more issues than good.

It's hard to define a buyback if it isn't mandatory otherwise you'll get results like you did in New Zealand where only 10% were obtained, which out of 400 million guns here isn't really a dent.

Not to mention they are attempting to buyback your gun with your own taxpaying money is just stupid.
I really hope there's a mandatory, door-to-door, buyback and you try to resist. PLEASE DO IT.

I've already been approved by the ATF and own a CHL so I'd probably be on the last to grab since I've already proved I'm capable of owning such. Now the other large percentage of Americans or previous soldiers, I can't speak for.

Glad to see you are advocating violence, you facist.

And I hate to break it you but the guys with guns are on my side, and they definitely wouldn't like you.

If I remember right, the reason the New Zealand buyback failed is because they offered hilariously small amounts for the weapons, almost pennies on the dollar. I would bet that if, and it's an incredible if, something like that happened in the States the dollar value offered per weapon would be stupid high. But honestly I don't see us progressing past a database/mandatory background checks.

In more positive news, Mexico is about to go full recreational marijuana. I'm hoping that ends up being as major of a blow to the cartels as everyone hopes it is.

How am I advocating for violence? You're the idiot that would resist the legal buyback of your illegal firearms.

That wouldn't help with the loophole of where people are creating homemade weapons and using the government to buyback 3D printed lowers or 80% lower, home-made guns, I mean if you are buying back guns, I've got about 300 3D printed lowers or 80% lowers they can buy.

It would violate the second amendment. Never said I would resist, said I wouldn't give them. That doesn't disclose anything, you're just the dumbass that made the leap because you are advocating a violent outcome.

You realize that Chicago has a 30% murder solve rate. The El Paso sheriff said anyone in the state of Texas would be fired with the 30% solve rate. The reason why it's 30% is because no one has faith in the police. They believe that 12,000 officers cant control around 3 million people. People who can defend themselves and not have to worry about being shot when they can't own a gun, is a problem. They get scared to go to the police. Hope this clears up any confusion you might have because if it was anti-gun America, I don't see you as a guy standing up for yourself against someone with an illegal gun.

So yeah, I'd say standing up for civil rights is important just as it was when slavery was a thing, the civil rights movement was a thing and so on. Your the backwards idiot claiming it's okay to violate peoples right, even if they aren't a criminal and use violence to do so.

403 people have died with rifles, 467 with blunt objects, 1600 from knives.

3D Printed guns are a whole other ballgame and will take a completely different set of legislation - but probably 10 years after regular gun control so that we have enough legislators who actually understand what 3D printers are.

I wouldn't be surprised if they became highly illegal however.

Yeah they supposedly don't database anything besides form 4's. With the CHL, they don't even submit.
