there's no way Sawant won legitimately. She was down 9 points with 40% counted.

Numbers don't do that without 'help'.

New York Approves Driver’s Licenses for Undocumented Immigrants

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) signed a law Monday that allows undocumented immigrants to get driver’s licenses, a major win for progressives and immigrant rights advocates.

“This is life-changing, and we are proud to stand on the right side of history because every New Yorker should have the opportunity to contribute to their economies and communities without fearing that they will be separated from their family because of a routine traffic stop.”

I think you're forgetting that they're human beings.

Edit: Also, wouldn't giving them drivers licenses a) force them to pay a fee/tax, b) require them to carry insurance, and c) DOCUMENT THEM?

But that doesn't matter. They're illegal, right? They aren't allowed to have rights. Oh, except the Constitution protects every person within our border and they are afforded all rights and privileges it guarantees. Due process isn't something that you seem to understand.

Bloomberg's potential presidential run is a flop with voters so far.

Bloomberg is running at four percent nationally as he teases a presidential bid, showing that he's well known — but widely disliked — by the Democratic electorate, according to a new poll. Nearly 25 percent of likely primary voters view the former New York mayor unfavorably — the highest unfavorable rating in the field.
