To be real for a moment, neither myself nor Sirken defended Doljonijiarnimorinar's actions even once. In fact, neither of us even commented as to the validity of their actions in sky. I said I wasn't surprised they were acting like dicks, and that it was ridiculous that the same people who were talking about not forcing playstyles on others just a short time ago were now screaming for Doljonijiarnimorinar to play their way or go to class C.

We don't, and never will enforce a sky rotation. Any agreement made in regards to sky is player made, and should be player enforced (yes, i am saying you should band together and block doljon from doing sky if you want them to fall in line). I sincerely wish Doljon would just find a slot on the rotation, and told them as much months ago, because I feel it cuts down on shenanigans. That being said, it's their choice if they don't want to do so.

So it sounds like you agree:
#1) They are acting like dicks
#2) They are creating shenanigans

Doljon is currently forcing THEIR playstyle on other guilds. I don't know why it's a complicated concept to recognize. Their playstyle involves leap frogging, contesting, competing, FTE'ing... sound familiar?

Rogaen, yourself, and other GMs banned EVERYONE from raiding because a 'minority' was forcing their playstyle on the 'majority'... and we needed GM enforced raid rules to resolve that issue.

This is really no different.

This isn't about Doljon necessarily --- this is about any other group of 'dicks who just want to create shenanagins' that want to show up down the line.

I agree that it's their choice if they want to join the rotation or not, but you're now telling me you're agreeing with us that they never actually tried to join the rotation? Wasn't the first 30 pages of this thread because you didn't think we attempted to give them a fair shake?

Again, if Doljon wants a spot I'm more than happy to work with them, but none of them have even attempted to contact me, or anyone that I know in any form other than to say they don't want in on the rotation.

I have no idea if Doljon actually contacted someone or not. All I have is secondhand info from Hyjal saying he did. It sounds plausible to me that when they were first getting together as a guild back in ~November that someone told them no you aren't ready, so they said fuck it and decided to do what they wanted instead. It didn't sound like they were to keen about being on the rotation anyway. After my conversation with Hyjal I didn't pursue the issue further.

Even if they didn't ask, this doesn't change my stance that telling Doljon to play your way or GTFO of Class R is hypocritical and wrong, which is what my responses in this thread have been about.

So we're jerks for asking them to join the rotation, but you think we should band together and force them into the way we want to play while they have a perfectly viable option to play they want in the competitive class?
