Is the idea of blackface type comedy only wrong when it’s done mocking black people?

Is it not wrong to mock poor middle eastern people by dressing up like them and mocking them too? Chavs?

My understanding of black face is literally painting your face black to mock a person of that colour. So yeah ok i get what you mean.

Imho he is using the dress as a vehicle to expose and mock other people's prejudice. The joke is against the people who buy into the costume/character.

Again i think he knows that but i think we allllll know why he is zeroing with Mr Cohen. I would possibly have more respect for him if he just admited it really.

Do you not see how the same exact thing is done with blackface?

Use a black disguise as a vehicle to do whatever. Are you aware most people that have done black face have attempted to do it for this reason?
