Well the really fucked up thing with the george floyd case and chauvin's conviction is that there literally was no evidence presented that he even had any kind of racial animus. It was *literally* just the fact that cop = white, victim = black.

Like, if george floyd had been a *white* 6'2" jacked as hell dude who was acting erratic and high on an unknown cocktail of drugs, that scenario would almost certainly have played out exactly the same. The general public is just so damn gullible though, especially when presented with a snippet of video that only contains the most damning part of a 30+ minute interaction.
