Good point. That drew maybe 200 neckbeards who would have no problem camping the server for 18 months staring at a wall until Velious popped. I can concede that.

However, that doesn't explain the other 600, who happened to show up the moment the one guild monopoly dissolved. What does explain the rest is content opened up and there were opportunities to finish epic quests that have been stalled for years without paying TMO 1.5 million in plat.

I've been here through every era of raiding, on both sides of the fence, and I've gotta say, I've seen some really ridiculous things.
But this situation?
I guess I'm just disappointed in the decision to petition, the decision by the staff in making the punishment, and the gibberish throughout this novel of a forum post. I'm not kidding when I say I typically deal with more vile and garbage attitudes when I leave the raid zones and go and try to randomly group or farm something out in these other zones with most of the so-called casuals.

Anyone that has played actively for a long time on this server knows who people are in all the guilds- they know who the good and the not-so-good people are. OP is one of the good ones, tries to do well and this just doesn't seem right.
I'm sure someone in AW has fraps with our TS in the background with several of us realizing the mistake and trying to pull the dragon from the entrance to the cubby, or just out trying to not train them. I mean, if it wasn't us engaging Feshlak last and botching the tag, it could have very well of been AM (or any other of the 200+ people in the zone). Conceding everything involved, apologizing (perhaps maybe not officer to officer? but members to members who know each other), helping res and buff- we tried to make amends.

30 days just seems messed up considering I really do feel this is one of the better eras of guild interactions on this server. You may think its bad, but I'll gladly take what we have now compared to the socking for 3 days straight in Naggy or Vox's lair in classic. The clusterfuck that PoSky was when that came out with DA and IB. The insanity of how cutthroat TMO was (we'd literally batphone and kill everything and probably succeeded doing that for nearly 2 years on 99% of the mobs). The disaster that the rotations were (caused my only break). Now here we are:

You people got it good. You just don't realize it. Just saying.
