There's The Death Gate Cycle https://g.co/kgs/xu2ngS which explores this some from the perspective of two distinct groups and an alien evil outside species which manipulated both. It's a bit of a slog in some areas, however I really enjoyed them and the authors wrote in detail how each group manipulated reality to bring about their chosen possibilities. They went so far as to sunder the universe into distinct and interconnected realms. It's roots are in the real world and present time. Of which a feint echo remains in the memories of some of the protagonists, antagonists.

The mmo universe these books could bring about would be 37337.

You should totally do your take on it.

If you can be everywhere at once, in all time zones, all locations in the universe, thats a non-task, from the beginning til the end of time, and supposedly watching me 24/7. You can prove you exist pretty easily.

Its a non-task for something that is literally everywhere and in everything, according to ya'll.
