I would say if you are new roll troll or iksar. I play as a troll and its great as your starting city is close to guk and you are are near feerrott also where you can amass a ton of spiderling silks (you can also do this as an iksar) which you can sell to tradeskillers in the tunnel to get some nice newbie starting money which you can turn over a few times to build funds. Leveling up on antonica Guk plays a big part of that and having a home city nearby to vendor and pick up food is great. This also helps if your friend is an iksar monk as you can get provisions for him and vendor for him.

I think if you are new troll/iksar regen is better than ogre stun immunity which does not really come into its own till higher level. The regen will help you keep your mana reserves up in groups so as a racial innate that most aids leveling I think thats the one. Ogre stun immunity is perhaps more useful if you are a high end solo artist taking on big mobs like Lodi. Certainly when you get torpor I think ogre is best, but going from 1-60 with no twink gear is hard work and I think its in your best interest to go with the race that will help the leveling curve the most!
