In their defense, it can be incredibly demoralizing to work hard on the other side when people use you to level safely and then peace out to nihilum. But that's the nature of MMO's across the spectrum, and you just gotta suck it up and keep on plowing.

I wasn't even talking about contending for PvE targets. In the least just organizing and doing mass PvP versus Nihilum since you have them all in one place. Someone like Colgate would attend that if someone that played enough organized it. I think most casuals would show up to pvp if they didn't have to put the effort into organizing it themselves.

People want pixels, not glory.

If you are actually a threat, there's stealth content fixes and box resets.

A shame really.

A new server isn't worth putting out without mechanical fixes. But I do think one is needed given the disgusting history I witnessed. Hopefully the teams server will draw closer and the new PvP dev will be revealed to us... so we may go to them with our finalized list of issues.

Grief is a term way too widely used around here. Being killed in PvP is not being "griefed." Being corpse camped or trained repeatedly is being griefed, and anyone who not a complete idiot can easily avoid both of those. The only people who get griefed are the people who allow themselves to get griefed.

Completely agree. Personally, I have not been griefed once since starting on R99. Of course there were situations where I could have been, but I know how griefing usually plays out and either diffuse or remove myself from the situation. I fear that the new server will attract both new players that don't know how to handle a griefers and old griefers that just want to ruin a strangers day, and the end result will be another low population server.

Banning people that follow directions in staff organized events is a problem.
