Some mystery guild may kill the overseer since there isn't an explicit agreement, and even though guilds other than an instance or still have not killed the OOA's over the last half year, we feel that because it COULD happen, we have to be the ones to go kill it and get our pixels.

Just when we thought that making deals and compromising was leading to a better, fairer, and more enjoyable Norrath, the casual scum rise up and show their true colors.

BDA apparently has now renounced the old custom of first in time, first in right when it comes to plane clears.

Now Taken is ignoring the new custom of leaving the OOA up for more nobles.
I trust Taken enjoyed their freebie OOA--doubt they will see them on the reg. going forward.

I don't always pop into RNF but when I do it doesn't fail to remind me how pathetic this shit is. On one hand you got a guild breaking an agreement and on the other hand you got the top guild on the server for years starting a whole circle jerk thread about a fucking OOA? You been in VP for YEARS and you're fucking crying about nobles and OOAs? Then the internet tough guys show up with "enjoy it it's the last mob you're ever going to see. Holy fuck this server is filled with children. Grow the fuck up and stop being a bunch of bitches over a 14 year old emu that's been stuck on the same expansion for how many years. (No offense devs)

Well in Taken's defense there is no agreement. IB killed 3 Overseers after TMO fucked with them on a Noble that IB thought was theirs outright. Then TMO killed some Overseers in retaliation for that. Then Taken left an Overseer up in good faith only to see it mysteriously get killed (*cough*TMO*cough*) so this time they killed the Overseer themselves and only now its an issue.

I don't buy it.

1. Its not about breaking an agreement. In case you missed it, Nobles and OOA are not a zero sum game. Leaving it up literally amounts to providing more mobs for the entire server to share.

2. i'm not saying my organization will be the one depriving them of their OOA. I'm just saying now your going to have a significant amount of guilds competing for that one kill. Judging by past performance, Taken is going to be much worse off as a result of their decision.
