1. Rip the baseboard up and replace after tiling. Which almost always results in broken boards and messed up paint. So expect to buy more baseboard afterward and repaint your kitchen. 2. Rent or buy one of these. http://www6.homedepot.com/tool-truck...amb_Saw/10-55/ If you have standard 4" base I would honestly just rip it out and buy all new base to replace it. Cutting 3/4"-1" off such short baseboard just ends up looking rediculous. If you have taller base, option 2 is very quick and easy. | |||
