This is probably correct. On live, the ID is 2036 (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=2036)

I'm assuming their ID's are different because most of the server side stuff had to be remade from scratch.

That's exactly what it is. All Fungi have that ID, regardless of when they dropped.
