I was, with DOOM. They said they were going to bring the game back to its roots. I was stupid enough to believe them. Never again.

i don't know shit about game development but is it even possible to have a "doom fast" shooter with current gen graphics outside of a high end pc? i assume it would have framerate issues like a mother fucker on console

If it's outstanding I might even buy a PS4.... but from what I've read, Square Enix's efforts on a lot of things in recent years have been severely lacking - they need to nail this to get some disgruntled fans back.

Just replayed ff7 a few months ago...so good.

Honestly, with as much fanboism and nostalgia we have for this game. There really is ZERO chance of the remake living up to expectations.

Plan for the worst, hope for the best
