She didn't really understand what people wanted/needed was her main problem throughout her entire tenure.

I don't know why anyone would want to be a guide on this server. You don't really get to take part in any of the fun parts of EQ. You only police jerks and entitled people. Not to mention, 20 hours is a lot of time to do something that you aren't paid for. It's not like you're actually getting to do something fun like develop code or mechanics. Running GM events would be fun, but we know those are few and far between.

Though seems like ending P99 employment, for whatever reason, is kind of like committing a crime in Stalinist Russia - you don't leave, you just kind of "disappear".
