Halloween Event by the Numbers

I had the least amount of panache getting murked in kael by AoE from Noble Helssen a mob I conned indiffrently to while blind from trick or treat because some moron aggro'd him and just stood there on the quest guy getting everybody nearby chain nuked from 800 dmg AoE. Probably would have been in the top 10 as a guildless non porting class all thanks to firepots if it weren't for that. I was ahead of watermelon/treeborn up until that point.

would have completed on red, but event was poorly coded and all my quest items poofed while i was standing at the final turnin npc

No no, you have a good point, and that was another take-away.

We made the items "temporary" so they vanished on logout. Future events, I will probably make them just regular items. They'll be useless after the event, but if you wanna keep one, go nuts.

yeah it definitely caused issues. i never went LD or camped, but i'm not sure about the others.
