i have a van that converted into a bus/taxi and drive around for $1 a head. Uber killing my business tho. making like 12 - 16k a year.

You can certainly live off 60k a year in NYC, Just don't expect to be renting an upscale apartment in Manhattan. Most people who work in the city live in the outerboroughs (Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and the Bronx) which are much more affordable.

Not all of us can live in Boystown with their husband like slathar. Slathar's community is accepting new applications though. The requirements are an undercut hairstyle, skinny jeans and no less then 5 different pairs of tom's slip-ons.

55% of people here, many of whom play 40+ hours a week, are making six figures. Seems reasonable.
