Haha I actually wanted to comment on this, because for years and years I thought the word was pronounced "me-lee" until I heard it in a movie or audiobook or whatever. To this day, I still sometimes say "me-lee" in my head despite knowing the correct pronunciation.

All the same but sow (say it like the piggy), Tunare is Tunaré (two-nar-ay, blame my at the time Canadian boyfriend), and definitely would yodel, loudly & as offkey as possible.
