Wondering through some forest, picking berries, and collecting flowers, to make powerful stuff.

Then this giant pig starts to chase me for 20 minutes, I eventually die of thirst, and the pig stomps me to death.

Forget the name though.
You must be talking about Haven and hearth

<Apex> Raid. tomatoking sticks his neck up in earnest interest at being able to experience content without being bullied. everything feels brand new and it shows in his attentive posture and serious expression, which conceals his inner joy

he lets everyone know just how serious he is about getting the pixels everyone got and believes if he demonstrates how focused and supportive he is, then people wont dislike him.

and if he plays his cards right, a telling look of future promise in his eyes lets us know that the other freshly grown human funguses might even look up to him one day if he can keep up the façade. hell, he might even become an "OG"-- a dream come true for someone with such genetic deficit.

My what a grown boy he has become.

Your writing is really vivid and creative. After this illustrated flight of fancy, though, you can never call me weird again.

Legion is kinda fun mostly because of the flashy animations and character customization, even though that's lacking too.

But I despise Blizzard for their idiotic lootbox mindset that's pervading all their games like a disease. I know why they do it too but that doesn't make it better. And because WoW is the complete opposite of what Everquest is when it comes to a "living virtual world". WoW is more of a theater where everything feels fake, safe, non-rewarding, easy, illogical, staged, cartoony, etc. But there's no better alternatives, so for now the spell effects are entertaining enough, even though PVE is literally an afk faceroll (actually was afk during the entire "invasion event" intro and still "won". Thanks bliz! Man I hate those stupid forced quests, just let me go fight stuff), and PVP has no skill based rewards either, just loot box farming.

Blizzard killed the MMO genre, turned it into a casual $$$$$ farming game genre. ( welcome to big business)

Games like DAoC/OG EQ were made with passion, and the developers were true RPG nerds. OG DAOC was made with a budget of like 1.2million.

Now MMOS are made with budgets of 100-200-300 million and tank within 6 months because the formula is all wrong.

Yeah, went from creating games with passion to "anything that will keep players hooked, besides being a great game, for the sole purpose of profit."

And maybe some illuminati brainwashing with symbolism and foreshadowing of opening a real demonic portal if they havn't already.

Pantheon looks hopeful, but they're showing some of the same nonsense with the long list of "trinkets" for pre-alpha buyers. "Pay $100 and get a cool in game pet!!!!". That stuff makes me cringe, even the actual gear, because it feels foreign to the world.

He already said that it's a game that's catering for a specific market, and they won't be trying to capture as many subs as possible i.e fish net approach. I actually have faith in Pantheon -- but I agree entirely, if it launches with armor packs and pet packs it's gunna be a shit starting point.

Supposedly it's going to launch with a PvP server. Greybeard 2.0 here we come [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
