I don't watch baseball. Isn't this the equivalent of a NFL fan saying "go Browns" or an NBA fan saying "go Nets?"

When I was in my early 20s I was drinking heavily (and single) when I started to watch baseball.

I actually learned to understand and somehow enjoy the pace of the game on TV. I then stopped due to changes in habit and life.

Later in my life I tried to start watching it again, and I don't know how I ever watched baseball on TV... It's such a slow paced game compared to football or basketball.

Basically baseball has extreme long points of nothing, then peaks of excitement every great once in awhile.

As in, the Dodgers are hopelessly terrible? This was their fifth year in a row winning the National League West championship (=best in their division) and went seven games in the World Series (= Superbowl of baseball.)

So, no. It isn't the equivalent of that.

Yes, Tomlin stumbles at times in the regular season, but his speeches and emotional relationship with his players really maximizes what he gets out of them. He also has not blown any big games with dumb decisions. I stand by him being a top-notch NFL coach.
I don't dissagree that he's a players coach & the players love him ( Maybe not Ben) He does, however, make bizare desesions at times. I think he blew last weeks game (which was a big game)

There are no coaches that don't make errors at times. I noted the consistent coaches that get to the playoffs and that look promising, who also do not blow big games with stupid coaching decisions.
You're right, Bengals anyone?

***90% of the teams in the NFL would take Tomlin as their head coach no idea why you hate him so much.
I don't actually hate him, I just don't think he's an elite level coach. I wouldn't take him over Belichick if I ran a franchise. I still hate the Pats but you have to give credit where it's due.

As a side note, I've been playing on p99 for awhile and almost never post but it's nice to see some football talk. Even if it's in RnF

Agreed it's fun to talk sports sometimes. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Hence why I mentioned 90% of the teams would take Tomlin. I think it's undisputed at this point Bellichick is the best coach in the NFL. No one woule take Tomlin over Bill. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Other franchises though? I wouldn't be surprised if 90% of them would take Tomlin over other coaches if given a choice.

Ah well got to take your word for it.

Didn't they move from Brooklyn to L.A.? I mean wasn't the Dodgers originally in Brooklyn?
