Since yesterday, I have been unable to go past loading screen that shows
before character select ; It just reverts back to the sign-in screen and gives me an error that says "Can't log into the Everquest server, You may need to re-run the Update Patch. Repeatedly seeing this message indicates a loss of connectivity to the Patch Server. This is usually temporary." The EQEMU patcher also shows these errors (although I tried runnng the game without the patcher too and still got the error. Searching updates for Project 1999 20 file(s) available. Checking files... Im geting the same type thing and not a U-verse customer.
I launch the patcher, it sometimes crashes while downloading, sometimes it doesnt. I get to the log in screen then on to the server select. I select p99 and it begins to load like normal. Then i am right back at the server login with a prompt about my internet connection.

If you know your spell files are correctly updated go through the hassle of hitting escape and try logging in again and again. Eventually you'll get back to the character select with you're characters listed, not sure why the spell file screen comes up with updates files but it does on occasion.

Unless my local ISP is using Uverse which i highly doubt knowing them, this is not only a Uverse issue. I cannot get past server selection and get looped back to the sign on.
I was signed in just the other day without issue.
