Banned with no explanation

either that or you just plain RMTed as these sorts of threads pop up atleast once a month where the person claims the didn't.

I just find it odd that I am not told why. As when they did the ban, then should know the reason for it, then I could atleast try to defend myself, or provide an explanation.

Now, I realize they might have a lot to do, and it might take some time to get around to the petition, but banning, and providing the reason why, should imho be all in the same first step.

And yeah, I have sold and bought stuff in the ec tunnel like everyone else, but I have not even been offered to buy anything for real money or the like.

GMs are volunteering their time working for the creation of this free server for others, so it’s understandable that they view each account/player as being about as privileged as they can get. That being said they ban accounts sometimes blatantly for the greater good of their servers, justified or not, from training or killstealing disputes to aggressive economy changing farming. If you get an IP exemption with hopes of getting your Gf or anyone else into the game then you’ll be assumed as two boxing, and trying to get unbanned will be a time extensive process where you will likely just get mocked. Sometimes you just get unbanned by someone else without warning later on. I ended up getting a perma banned in the end for rmt, which braknar investigated for me twice, and said it was a sure thing (I was on break at the time). There is (or was) little to do about account security at the time since hackers roll over everything in any free service, and us privileged people wont get service like you would from a paid company. Point is don’t get an ip exemption, and don’t become too attached. Your playing here for free doesn’t come with any gaurantees and if your account shows anything weird then you’re just a burden at that point. Sharing your info isn’t the only way people will get your info. I’ll try not to feed the trolls much sorry, but seriously have you ever played a game where account infos weren’t hacked? The only difference here is the gm volunteers don’t have the time to worry about investigating, so they just handle it efficiently. Shit happens. May not like it but you’ll need to accept it, or bury your head in the sand and hope for the best
