YES! If somebody really wants to rant, they can host it on some other external forum. Having Rants & Flames here just encourages people to be assholes.

RnF is an enabler for certain people. Ditch RnF and you force them to seek their fun elsewhere -- probably at someone else's expense, more than likely in-game. Here, they can be ignored.

I dont know why the GMs even read R&F it doesnt concern them at all. Its there for us to vent.

Pretty sure they do ignore most of it, just when RnF has about 12 threads named after or calling out the devs, they get curious.

Yeah I've heard that argument before. A great deal of these folks don't even play the game anymore, or got banned so they wouldn't be in-game anyway. If they have no outlet to rant here, they'll just get bored and leave. (which is what we want)

I agree with the content of the OP's post. However, I had a hard time getting past the title, where the words "seriously" and "guyz" are combined.

Fair enough. Problem is, that's an assumption: There's nothing whatsoever stopping them from making a character, logging in and doing damage, given that it's all free and they can essentially do as they please.

Unless they get arrested, like this guy, anyway. =D

im still shocked players & the devs take rnf so seriously. as a regular rnf poster, everything i post is firmly tongue in cheek as im sure it is for 90% of the other regulars there.
