As far as rum goes : check out "Sailor Jerry's" ...it's awesome. One of my favorites: [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] I have to go accross state lines for this beer. One of my favorites amongst many. Local brew here that I enjoy: [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] And just about anything from Shiner! Got my list of supplies to home brew - just gotta stop being lazy and get on it soon.

Pilsner Urquell and Stella Artois in the summer time... Bass Ale and Guiness in the winter (mmm, black & tans - and somehow, that always leads to Scotch!)

![]() Budweiser and Keith's is not a good stepping-off point so I can understand why you wouldn't like it. I quite enjoy Stella myself but I wouldn't recommend it to get into beer. I'd think you would want to try out some honey browns and red ales first. Sleeman's has a few decent ones and are pretty readily available. Try out some local/smaller breweries too.
This be my weapon of choice. Sweet sweet oak aged Innis & Gun. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

![]() Apparently, 80% of people who take pictures of beer have no idea how to pour them. Qq.

Beers with a high abv should not have much head in the glass, or at least if they do, it shouldn't last. I know witbiers are supposed to have a decent sized head
