Yeah, I ran with Diligence (www.diligenceguild.com) and after we cleared Quarm, and started into GoD and its wonderful Xadfoijal zones, I just couldn't do it anymore. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Eh post tuning GoD raids were uber. Some pretty unique shit. Inkt'uta cursecallers, txevu zun'muram, uqua gas chambers etc.

I like more complex raids then corner, tank and compensate for fear and another special aoe. Like every classic raid is. And most of that compensation is just stack on resist gear/buffs. Very few times do you need to modify your strat from tank/spank due to named mob effects in classic/kunark.

Good job quoting the entire post, so his edit doesn't matter.

EQ live is just a trip to guild lobby nothingness, or continuous group missions to have any chance at progressing into more content that is laughable with such ugly weapons, not unique clothing appearances, and just overall doesn't feel like adventure at all.

I paid $16 last night to play EQ Live because I am just ACHING to play P99 (Still waiting 4th or 5th day for IP exemption) and thought maybe I would like playing my lv 60 top geared warrior...but then it felt lonely...and I have too much platinum, and a bunch of items that were not 100% classic content. But I luv my weapons which are a combo of VPeak/NToV with beautiful designs.

Didn't even log onto the chars I have that are 80+ range.

I just like the humbleness and adventure and world appearance of the Kunark/Velious days. Better graphics does not always translate into better satisfaction of adventure.

I think after running full time and full bore through Vex Thal and Planes, while working 20-30 hours a week and doing full time college, I was so exhausted I needed to cut something, and I couldn't quit my job or school. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I always had to chuckle at the "starting area" or "noob area" in EQ now a days. Talk about some hand holding pansy action. What happened to falling off of the wood elf city your first minute of the game? Lol. Having to find you way out of a complicated city (neriak, etc)? Alas , they needed up adjust to keep up with the WoW generation.
