so now we have a map of hate AND a map key that clearly says where the teleporter is even describing it as a "white circle" ( note: Nirgon referred to it as a white brick )

Edit: I get that this is from Hate 2.0 however I would doubt that they would introduce the zone out in the patch with Paineel, remove it before Hate 2.0 then put it back in again for this map.

So the zone out had to be in there whole time.

This area, on second floor, is inaccessible at the moment due to the block in Innoruuk's room.

Did another search and I can't find any era appropriate information besides the patch note for a zone out.

I feel like it was rare people ever had to use those given a wizard was obviously there to port up and druids came for 2.0 armor all the time. Even still.. you had to be a class without gate/gate potion/gate item and left up there... cutting the usage down even more.

Maybe some rogues would know and this is enough to jog their memory.

looks like you're standing in the same spot as B on that map. and there is indeed a white circle there.

circle looks sort of high up, though (perhaps just camera angle). would it be possible to click that from the ground?

When I was looking into this I actually did check a bunch of old Ragebringer guides and Book of Souls questions on the Safehouse and Allakhazam, and every single one recommended gate potions, OT hammers, WC hats, Thurgadin potions, etc. as a means of escape. Not a single mention of this zone out point that I could find.

Well I was a rogue throughout '00 and lost power while on a hate raid with my guild. Logged in the next morning and I'll be damned if you think someone would go wandering around plane of hate back in the day!!! spent the next hour or two crying for a wizzie to come rescue me instead. No one ever mentioned anything about an exit, kind of blows my mind that one could have existed this long without us knowing about it.

Even when it was added, it was very unknown. I remember my GL using it after Velious, and everyone going "Huh?"

well I bet if you teleported back to a Classic server in the year 2000 and told them on our emulated EQ we use
Cazic Thule's Puppet strings to complete the OT hammer quest and also for elite raid tank aggro everyone would go "Huh?"

just because people did not 'know' does not equal did not exist. Thats what we are trying to figure out, seemingly fruitlessly however.
