I think they only ever said this was classicish eq.. not pure classic.


but it seems a reasonable thing.. peoples big concern isn't killing him for items / quest.. but just to prevent others from finishing the quest.

It is 'fixed the right way'. That requires a patch to be updated. What i offered was a way for the currently multi-bugged npc to work properly.

Not only is it a 2 hour spawn, but it has a 75% chance of being broken when the named actually spawns.

So stfu.

As a former guide on Live, I can attest that active efforts to discourage griefing are indeed classic, at least on blue servers. I recall my GM summoning someone to CShome and leaving him there until he started playing nice once (there was no way to exit normally). Negotiating camp rotations was fairly common for us as well, and anyone KSing/training/griefing to get a camp usually got the boot. I don't remember anything about this mob, since I had stopped guiding by Kunark, but there's my 2 cents.

able to kill and showing the willingness to camp the mob are two different things, im willing to bet there are at least 2 other guilds on this server that can kill most raid targets.

isn't he a low level undead KOS mob?

pretty sure a monk in our guild used that reason to justify killing him, which, understandable you spend all that time trying to get the mob up that you'd kill him after.

I know i would. lol.

Edit: Making him unkillable is a quick fix tho until a patch.
