Move the Everquest folder out of Program Files and keep it in your C:\ Drive (Like C:\EQTitanium) and make sure you're on an admin account. Also I'm assuming you meant document/file, not folder? eqhost is a text file, not a folder lol
File [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I will try it out, appreciate your advice!

Hmm I think something may be wrong... When I log into the game there are no servers at all - I found on a forum

http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...EmuFAQ#QLinkLS

"I can log into the Server Select screen, but when I get there, no servers are showing up. It is just a blank list."

And I don't think this is the case... If I type in the incorrect password it still logs me in to server select screen - it shouldn't do that?

One thing I had done... I went into properties and changed the file and all of its subfolders of everquest when it was in the program files to NOT "read only".... would this mess things up at all?

Just realized I didn't have the EQEMU launcher... So I downloaded it; now the issue is: "You do not have enough permissions to the specified Everquest-Directory. Aborting Patch"

by the way,... is this playable via a Mac? I do have VMware Fusion running windows as well, but it's always easier to just run things within the Mac.
It is, and you have a few different options. You can run it under a Windows VM (although I had some weird mouse sensitivity issues under VMWare Fusion; Parallels worked much better). I did this for a while, but I'm using WINE now and the performance is slightly better. You also don't have to wait for Windows to boot or deal with any of that. I wrote a post here detailing how you can get it working for P99 from the Titanium install discs.

Will I be able to run Wine and Windows VM on my computer? I need to keep VM for work... But would like wine for EQ... I don't know if they would conflict with each other?
