It's a fair point.

Bloodfires? no.
Dawnfires? no.
Trunk? heh, that's stretching it.
Bard instrument? no.
Soul Leech? For cash purposes only, and even then its mainly to deprive others of SK epics, in case there is SKs who've played more than 3 weeks and don't already have one.
CRoA? Great stats, but a lot of effort to look like a level 30 mage who finally decided to start their Sol Ro Temple quests.
Druid toy? Not unless they need $$$ for peridots badly.
Necro epic? Possibly.
Puppet Strings? Puhlease.

VS/Trak, yeah, i get that. Cobalt and Donals are always in short supply. Mana Robes are neat. Cloak of Piety even makes fun caster gear.

CT seems to be stretching the realm of beliability a little thin.

I might be forgetting something on the loot table, by all means enlighten me.
CT Skin, AoN, Shield of Rainbow Hues

Well TR locked this server down for a year, and didn't share at all, they kept pharming (even Vox and Nag) even though full members didn't need anything off them anymore.

TMO after getting repeatedly ass-raped now dominate this server, it's just legit for them to keep pharming as long as another guild doesn't challenge them...They have the roster and put work into it, totally legitimate, if you don't say so, you're either communist or jealous. It's perhaps pointless and retarded but yet it's totally legit, even if it cockblocks 90% of this server.

People just tend to get butthurt because TMO has a core of sociopaths trolling big time on these boards and whose only thrill is to actually grief...

Which I kind of understand, when all guilds failed to challenge them for over a year or so. When you farm over and over and over the same thing, sometimes without even being challenged, when you have new actors on the raiding scene you will just troll them to death, put on your young lawyer suit and try to make them slip or look bad.

Oh well, I need more tea.

In this thread, lots of people who don't play or have not played in 6 months complaining about something that has no impact on them.

On another note... Lots of new people in TMO. I am one of them. When I joined, they didn't just immediately hand me best in slot gear. I'm still running around with several pieces of crap gear on. If I want loot, I have to earn it. The TMO app process is probably one of the most difficult guild app process I have ever been through. It was 2 months long. I had to have 75%+ raid attendance during those 2 months. I had to have lvl 60. And I had to have minimum un-buffed resist stats. They don't hand out diamonds or BD's to apps to get the resist gear needed. These are not the official requirements to app to TMO, but when I was apping, there were 3 other clerics in app at the same time. I had to do better than them to ensure that I would get full membership.

There are some constants in TMO. I would say 15 to 25 players that have been there from the start, but the rest of the "zerg guild" that you guys are referring to is a rotating door of people that get in, play for several months and then burn out. These people need/want these raid targets just as much as the rest of the server.

I could be completely wrong, I am a noob to TMO, but I can tell you that it takes a bit of effort to keep up with all of the information that is needed to keep my raid attendance at an acceptable level, which I need to do if I want any loot at all.

Puppet strings are actually extremely desirable for a number of reasons.

It is important to note that I am not begrudging TMO their raids. They have earned the right to all that loot, and that - in a sense - is fair.

What I was speaking to is the idea that one group gets everything and every other group gets nothing. This can be said to contain injustice. That is subjective, but a strong argument can be made for how it is unfair that one group gets all and every other group gets none, regardless of any other factors.

Sure, if your narrow focus is on the specific situation of "is this decision mutually equitable to the rules and the players in and of itself?" you might find that a given decision is fair, but if you step back into the light of the radically unequal distribution of wealth, it is ironic in the extreme that any TMO member would ever say that a GM decision to award TMO more loot is fair. It's just ridiculous.

And Eccezan is a short dicked wafflecunt for even suggesting it.

It's like .. yeah .. the bank IS right by letter of the contract to foreclose on that 85 year old widow.

Yes, according to the contract that is fair.

But step back into the light of 28 years of on-time payments, and the bank (eccezan) looks like a greedy jackass.
