Would a 2 AC breastplate with no stats go for 50k if it only dropped once every year?

Rarity does add some value, but there's still a limit.

That is true you can't base price on rarity but on demand and since the the price of 100k has not been met i can assume that fair market price has yet to be met.

I've seen the shawl sell for 10ish and that was about a month ago, and I still thought that was expensive.

Inflating prices might work on fools, unfortunately you're also posting it on the forums where it's open to comments by those who aren't fools.

So because a Necromance might camp Frenzy for weeks and get 10 FBSS and sell then for 10k each, the rest of us have to come up with 100k or do without the shawl?
Like with many other items once Kunark goes live poeple will find better stuff and these classic items will drop greatly in value, i can wait.
Yes, you have to come up with 100k, or whatever he decides to sell the shawl at. Why should he undersell because you don't have the same moneymaking capacity as a necromancer who is willing to solo frenzy for weeks? You're not everyone, and not everyone shares your opinion or outlook.

Non sequitur. Not only is the shawl rare, it is also the best droppable item you can put in that slot for most casters. Your example is completely pointless.

Listen - I have no dog in this fight except for consistency. I don't even know this guy but if this item is rare AND the best droppable, he should be well compensated for his work in acquiring it. But you guys who are cricizing him need to realize that you aren't the only people on this server. Just because you're a casual, family-oriented player doesn't mean that everyone else is.

The price of 10ish doesn't sound too unreasonable if it was a first but after that you can expect the the value to decrease as some us don't have 10k lying around. Obviously there needs to be some wealth redistribution here, it's not fair that only the rich can afford these exotic items.
