Greetings Fellow P99 Comrades: I haven't logged into EQ since May of 2015. I realize Velious has launched since this and I will need to update my EQ files in order to be able to login. Does anyone have a link to point me in the direction of where I can pick up from May 2015 to get myself back into EQ? Thank You!

This did not work for me. I think I may need to run a fresh reinstall - I am running a Macbook Air 13 Inch 2013 with OS X El Capitan - Version 10.11.1. Should I follow the original install guide, http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=56238 or is there a more updated guide? Thank you much!

Im trying to update my EQ Mac version of P1999 from about 1 year ago? I installed only one spell file update after downloading the version posted here tied with wine. It was a while before Velious that i last played and it could be the Velious update that is making my game not work now...

I have been trying to log in and it says that i have to install new spell files. I did this and it did not seem to work and it won't even load the game now. What do i have to do to make it work again?

Any help would be very appreciated!!! Best wishes!

I just started a clean build/install from scratch.

9th Jan 2016 - OS X 10.11 El Capitan. (2014, MBP 2.7ghz i7)

Running fine.

I followed the instructions in the Video (Link in the very first post on this thread) and replaced the Patch 30 files with the latest Patch 40?

I think the issue with mouse look is still a problem, however if you use one of the 3rd person views, the problem becomes obsolete.

hi so I've completed al the steps and when i try to run the project1999 app it docent do anything and to close it i have to force quit with it saying not responding any ideas?

Yeah, same thing here. I have used the wineskin and followed instructions printed for Mac users. Not sure what I am missing. I am running a 2014 iMac with El Capitan. When I click the Project 1999 App icon, it does nothing and I must force quit to close. For what it's worth, I used Titanium CDs to install.

I am sad.

I believe I'm running into the same problem.

I'm fine up until 7:30 in the youtube video. At that point she opens the "P99files30" folder. I downloaded the "Project 1999.zip" from the link in the OP, but when I open it up it becomes an application with the everquest graphic, and not a folder like the one shown in the youtube video. So I can't complete the installation.

Anyone have any ideas on what to do?
