they meant to say: everyday 19 people are killed after they walk in front of moving vehicles while staring down at their phone

Jaywalking isn’t even policed here in AZ

I do it across a busy street 9 times per week on the to and from jog to my hike. And we’re talking busy as in lots of cars going 45mph to where I have to stand in the suicide lane and wait sometimes

Never been hit obv because I can time it well. Even a car flying at me I can try to juke. My only tiny fear is I have a heart attack mid street
