For those worried about the trolling of OOC, I'm glad to inform you the last patch implemented the /ignore command.

On a more serious note, perhaps some of our ForumWarriors here who are busy grinding levels on the boards would take their ForumQuesting to OOC and actually play the game if it was implemented. I'd rather see some trashtalking, drama, and omg some actual PVP on the PVP Server, rather than empty, dead, quiet zones.

I'm sure people would love to know if they /ignore someone they are shutting down communication with 1% of the server lol.

I just worry about new comers, especially blue people not used to the tard dribble on eq pvp emulated servers.. just seeing the ooc chat and saying ehhhh not for me .. the fuck is wrong with these guys?

That's like saying we should ditch the forums because there are a few degenerates here who like to troll. "There might be trolls" is a given for the entire internet. I'm sick of hearing this. If that is such a big deal, then shut down the forums and turn chat off entirely.

The social aspect (including the garbage/drama) was always part of the appeal for MMORPGs in general but EQ in particular.

It would also help the player-driven economy tremendously if players could actually use /auction.

Been said a million times, so here is 1,000,001... With population so low, we need something to try and bolster LFG and trade.

Whatever you think the negatives are for OOC (which there are none) the positives well outweigh them.

Like i said in a previous post... /ignore is a wonderful tool that is not used enough, both in game and in the forums...

I really don't a shit if 3 people troll it. I don't give a shit if staff moderate it or not. Just turn it on. I can /ignore or turn it off when it gets annoying.

This needs to be on so long as there are < 400 people playing at prime time, much less < 200.
