I'm wondering why he focused on Aego. The OP was raid buffed in the original video and I didn't notice Aego in the third iteration, but still had many other raid buffs.

Maybe DSM doesn't know about raid buffs? Just like he doesn't know the difference between CH chain and CH clickies or when the swing timer starts on an offhand attack.

This is the root of the problem: He's presenting himself as some sort of expert on the subject of EQ, and he sees anybody who can prove that incorrect as a threat. He resorts to calling them names and follows them around to several threads with the intent to attack them.

Just like he did on this one.

In the consumable less one (try 3?) he had ageo and some shaman buffs. So I agree there is some discussion to be had!

Yeah, I wasn't going to try to dissect that blurry mess that hard. I was done when he still had FoS and VoG.

I for one would think [S] should not allow for outside buffs. It just wont ever feel solo to me otherwise.

Updating the wiki due to being angry and trying to win an argument was the only potential defacement that has been done.

If people want to actually have a conversation about changing the wiki that doesn't involve character attacks and edits that were not well written/thought out, I'd be happy to do so. But that should be another thread. OP's thread is not about changing the wiki or solo artist challenge rules.

I agree that we can't just arbitrarily decide to change it.

But if we discuss it long enough, maybe a thread should be started for that alone (no attacks, just debating EQ) then we can get to an amicable recipe for the new cookies.

There's some further discussion to be had about buffs, yeah. The amount used can vary a lot. S-tier means using less than your max HP of consumable items while having no outside buffs, so getting outside buffs instead of using consumables should also not exceed that level of effect.
