If his employees posses better knowledge of how to actually do the things he does, they'd be him. Yes elon doesn't personally build every single rocket engine he ends up using, because that would be completely impossible. 1. They are not the only decent electric cars out there, in fact they are now among the worst. Other major auto retailers have caught up.

2. I've said good things about Elon Musk.

3. You know, right, that it's pointless for humans to try to live on Mars? There is no way for it to be permanently and independently inhabited due to the obscene radiation levels. You would have to live underground, and at that point, why be on Mars? Just be on the moon. There are many other better candidates in the solar system for habitation. Somehow your 'genius' didn't catch that one, or maybe he finally did, because he never fuckin talks about it anymore. More than likely he was just talking up SpaceX back when Mars was really big in the early 00's

Bernstein was a god. I do not care if you don't have a taste for classical music. Listen to his "West Side Story" suites. He wrote the tunes, the big musical themes, and West Side Story is essentially Lenny's gift to the 20th century: an opera, but written to be turned into Broadway and a movie. (yes, thanks to Sondheim for lyrics and likely melodic input -- he's a genius too!)

Bernstein, before my time ahem, is probably the greatest American conductor of the 20th century, if you take total energy, contribution, and "vitality" into account. I just have far, far more respect for the actual scientists and engineers than the capitalist who brought them together, and has half the talent as well as began life with a fortune.
