That's why I can't live in PNW Long term. Too many whites gives me flash backs to growing up in blonde white Texas suburb prison and I start sweating bullets cause I KNOW I just KNOW that too many whites together is a very dangerous or very boring thing

Can't wait to see it crush the Midwest and all the long term care facilities here in PA.

Seriously, can't wait.

Watching guys at work cheer it on when their RN wives work at hospital long term care facilities that are 99% white elderly people that Medicare pays for around 75% of the total patient cost, when that stops in this new bill those people will be told GTFO.

Horrible that people have to be hurt and some will die for sure but apparently this is what people want.

/Popcorn
I'm fairly certain this will not end the way they hope, but something has to be done to save what the ACA set in motion.

Where do you live that is 99% white

Gps coordinates please
The patient's are 99% white in these extended Care facilities just outside Philly.

Watching these trumpsters "cut everything unless it effects rich people" vs extreme libbs "we can pay for everyone" idiots crash medicad should be fun. I'm sure it won't effect the economy [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

But if you're asking if I think someone's race alone should be a factor in whether or not they are welcome in my community, then hell no.

I've never not lived in an upscale, segregated community, but in my case I believe it has always been primarily along economic lines. The racial minorities who made it in were very similar to me. I have an inkling things are a bit different in the South. Even in college, everyone pretty much just immediately segregated themselves by race, religion, and social class.

Regarding why the economic line and the racial line are so often the same, that's a conversation we can't have on this forum.

Does the past make you perceive the future differently?

Some parts are. Usually backwoods folk that don't like anyone perpetuate it, but in general it's mainly through gentrification and real estate markets which is inevitable. We call the Greenspoint area in Houston gunspoint for a reason, gang activity out of the Acres Homes area. East Texas is another creature though.

with respect i strongly disagree. it may not be universal in places like ATL but there is strict segregation in other places. check out nola some time.
Aint nobody who ever lives in a liberal city been inside a building that plays meriachi music unless its a Mexican themed restaurant full of white people.

In red states? Karaoke bars are Mariachi one song, david bowie the next.
