I missed the broadcast and had no interest at all, until reading in these comments that it will not have level based system. I'm willing to check it out just for that alone, the high-fantasy MMO scene desperately needs a non-level based MMORG. I thought WOW's success would have doomed us to ~2 decades of rip-offs.

Even some UO-like** mess would be a breath of fresh air at this point.

I agree with you, its just that the things that they did show were incredibly suggestive and reminiscent of other titles... in a bad way. They hinted at some wonderful technical "potential" but every new MMO tries to do that.

I just wish they would have been able to demonstrate that they have an actual vision for their game beyond tell us what to do folks.

Hey guys. How about we stop calling each others name and put a actual group focus on trying to make this game better. We have a rather large community here that if banded together could put a voice to what we all want which in the end is the same thing(something like classic eq). While we might not be able to change everything there might be things that we could have a loud input on to make the game little more challenging. As SoE said they want it to be our game. They are letting people design buildings and such so why should that listen to alot of the people about gameplay. We all heard the reception they got from the crowd. We arent the only ones that want a more classic game.

Doing spelling/grammar well is something any uneducated person can do. Perhaps if you could show us your calculus skills we can be impressed.

I don't share the opinions of people on this forum about modern games. I simply share a love of classic EQ. Honestly, the further people that frequent these boards stay away from game design, the better.

Also, dicking with those two idiots has been the ForumQuest highlight of my day after the saddening lack of info in the twitch stream.
