I'd think the first Fungus Staff should be on there too? Especially since it's a pre-nerf edition.

If MMORPG players were around when God said, "Let there be light" they'd have called the light gay, and plunged the universe back into darkness by squatting their nutsacks over it.

Pre-nerf CoS not going to be on the list?

Edit: No items that get removed going to be on the list? i.e. Rod of Annihilation. Also, is Spirit Wracked Cord even Kunark era? The earliest post on allah's concerning it is from 2002. Just wondering.

Pre-Nerf CoS is so ridiculously common that it has no business being on a list, the item drops all the way until velious release. It was a junk lore item people let rot or destroy on live while camping for the idol of the thorned, it only became valuable LONG after it stopped dropping.

Fungi Tunics never stop dropping though? Wurmys never stop being quested. Maybe I'm nostalgic because I played a necro on live, but CoS was a BAMF item. Having it was both expensive and essential.. much like HEBS.

During kunark the CoS was never expensive, its like making a big deal about server first runed cowl. Not to knock the achievement of getting and holding the camp at launch time, great work. But if you would be looking for something noteworthy to come from that camp it would be the first locket of escape.

It has nothing to do with holding the camp or anything, I wasn't there, so you shouldn't go there either. It's not an achievement to hold the camp.

The item gets nerfed, the item is good, the item was valuable, the item is unique, the item was collected. Same goes for Rod of Annihilation.

What is the criteria for making this list again?

It doesn't really matter, I can definitely see LoE being listed especially considering we've already listed classic "junk" like Dragoon Dirk.

Gonna need a repeat of this joke for Trak:

Quote:
First to kill The Spiroc Lord: Inglourious Basterds featuring: Gobaber, Loner, Gibartik, Goner, Xebn, Zoner, Gobn, Jobober, Laser, Gaser, Jobn, Konnan, Gebn, Kibekr, Zibantik, Jebarer, Jibaner, Kibober, Kibartik, Kenn, Libantik, Larener, Kobober, Ztik, Libartik, and the hero of the day: Jobtik.
Also, I believe TR was the first to kill Trakanon for the first time in EverQuest history. May have to do more research.

If you were there to see it, you'd also know it wasn't accurate for that fight.

Spirit Wracked Cords are 100% not Kunark era.
