Agreed
Makes me wonder about Manning though. How many more years does he have playing at the top level? With weapons like Decker and Welker, he'll have a good year if he can stay healthy.
i give manning 2-3 years at most, barring an injury

bears were lookin good til everyone got hurt... again.

Percy did the smartest thing he could do. Hopefully AP will get out of there before he ends up being this generations Barry Sanders.

Send Adrian Peterson to the Falcons, or Packers, or Steelers, or Patriots, or Broncos, so he can win a damned superbowl, or at least a play off game. (sorry vikings fans [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] )

the bears have looked good in April for the last few years. its to bad looking good in April-July doesnt = wins. i really do like the TE that we grabbed from NYG. im iffy about the LT from N.O.

but we are fucked because we fired lovie. im not saying Lovie was a great coach. im just saying Lovie and Urlacher each had 1 more year on contract. give them that year, then let the new coach blow up the team. now we have a bullshit CFL coach, that has to deal with teaching old dogs new tricks. and by the time they learn the tricks, they'll retire.

maybe it was the right decision, but it was just a horribly timed decision.

........... but no really with AP the Falcs wouldn't even need a defense. We'd put up 50+ points game.

dallas switching from the 3-4 to the 4-3 should be interesting.. hopefully jerry will come to his sinces an draft lineman that can block (not like the rest of the stiff you have been getting lately). an monty kiffin comes to dallas as a d cord with a super bowl title....if dallas can get some stiffs up front to block they have a lot of play makers to make stuff happen..an with all the romo bashing being done there really isn't much better out there that is available.. though romo does have little time left to win the big one..

im actually a big fan of monte kiffin. Romo actually isnt a bad QB, the team just doesnt preform well in the post season (in the clutch/under pressure). i see the NFC East as a toss up this year, if Dallas can win their division games and home games they can win that division.

Welker to DEN (if u missed it)
Mendenhall to ARI
Amendola to NE
R. Bush to DET
Cliff Avril to SEA

Thumbs down

I think a really good tight end free agent who is severely underrated due to a nagging injury last year is Dustin Keller. This dude was the only consistent target on the jets after braylon Edwards and Cotchery were sent packing and Holmes was given a disgusting 60+ million dollar contract.

Dustin Keller is too fast to be covered by a tight end, and even gets open against most defensive backs. Hes an excellent blocker despite being somewhat undersized, but makes up for his blocking with excellent hands and speed. The guy had an awesome connection with mark sanchez, and I'm sad to see him go as a jets fan. Any team who picks up keller will have a new weapon with which to create mismatches. If he goes to a team with a system/coach/QB that can utilize him correctly, I suspect he has a probowl year.

I like that the Titans finally realized that chris Johnson isn't an everydown back, they will like having a real work horse in shonn greene(I'll miss him for sure, here's one of my most fond memories of him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6NyhiXI-1c Sorry patriots fans.)

Hes by no means a star running back but hes capable of ripping off long runs, hes tougher to take down then most, and hes a guy who will get the job done and protect the ball behind a decent line. Chris Johnson will only benefit from the presence of Shonn Greene, I predict a 60/40 split in favor of Chris Johnson naturally, but I suspect shonn greene to possibly get short yardage and goal line carries...which sucks for fantasy owners of chris Johnson.

As for reggie bush going to Detroit, that's kind of a big deal. In my opinion Bush showed in his last 2 seasons with Miami that hes capable of carryin a heavy load. Detroit already has two younger running backs in Joique Bell and Mikel Leshoure, adding Bush as a featured back in a ray rice type of role is going to add lots of new capabilities to Detroit's offense. They were more of less one dimensional last season without a real number 1 running back or a real number 2 receiver. You can stop reggie bush if you want, but good luck stopping calvin Johnson if you've gotta stack the box with 8 guys. The Lions just need to bring in a good number two competitor at the receiver position and they look to be pretty lethal. Now if only they could fix their defense up a bit they could contend.
