The people who play the game spend their time playing it. The ones who no longer can/want to seem to be in R&Fs posting 10x a day.

I come from emarr. Home of Da'Kor, Ice Clan & at one point, a guild that exuded the type of atmosphere that guilds want on this server: Ebonlore. Everyone wants to be on top of the jungle gym so they bicker and fight over it, usually just minor squabbles which are resolved rather quickly amongst them, but from time to time there comes a bully who doesn't "Play nice" and is down to throw a punch, trip you, steal your G.I Joes in order to obtain the top spot.

You know you can't beat the bully head on because you'll get thrashed and forced to eat the mud and insects off the ground for the bully's amusement, so you do the only course you know... You tell the teacher get him sent to detention and all is well on the jungle gym again, until that bully gets out of detention and meets you after school.

Indiscriminate banning does not work, you can ban people all day til your hands bleed from the sheer amount of clicking but all it takes is a new email account and a proxy and you've defeated the ban.

The only option to stop trolls is to lock down and or close registration which sterilizes and isolates the community causing it to whither, or you can continuously ban and escalate the problem by feeding the trolls into personal attacks , DDOSing, duping, exploiting and griefing.

In the end no matter the course you take you continuously lose because if someone wants to cause havoc bad enough they will regardless at what you throw at them, and you're slowly going down hill because the project and server becomes stagnant with bullshit.

I've been banned well over 50+ times IP and account bans on all counts in-game, IRC and here on the forums and guess what? I'm still here. I have rhyme and reason for why I do what I do and that's because I do not like the rules on raiding, I don't like the rules on player relations and I consider them carebear, because hundreds of people get banned for playing how they want to play.

I suggest a new solution? a new player policy, a new forum policy and a new way GM's to handle petitions and player relations because obviously the current draconian method does not work.

There's no pvp in ffa. Raid target pops up. Anyone who is awake can engage and attack. Whoever takes it down or does more dps = gets the loot. What's so hard to follow? If anything it would make this game have more strategy.

If you force people to not be afk to take raid targets. Guess what? You'll probably have less trains.

32k hp mobs, 6 wizard guilds owning all major targets, holla :P Each one does 3 nukes, thats 18k in an ideal scenario...enough to KS any mob until velious. There's a reason why whoever gets exp doesn't get loot--cuz the classes simply aren't built that way :P

Depends on how many are online, what boss they're positioned at, and if they aren't poopsocking. It's like risk bro. Some strategy in a 11 year old game? Fuck that right? Lets just showeq raid timer, afk bat phone when it pops, fake roll call, and claim everything, gg.
