Most know me as Ehmcee from Blades of Wrath, or Emsee in TMO. I just don't post here, but honestly pissed me off that he called me out when I would have given him the robe and was just trying to help him out with the info.

![]() Step 1) Be a Gnome
Step 2) Wear Robe of the Ishva for dat sweet CHA In all seriousness though it's pretty shitty to actually need something and not be able to go and camp it due to the whole 'we greed everything' mentality on the server. I understand it, especially with large ticket items. If I won a SBC I may not even have a melee class, but I would probably make an alt just so I could use it. Fun fact: When I was in that same camp as a 53? enchanter, the robe dropped and the dude who won messaged me saying he'd give me the robe if I'd give him my robe. We swapped garments and I've been rocking that sweet sweet bonecaster digs since. I think I had a siren scale robe? Not really sure, i'm all about the aesthetics.

The server is not NBG friendly. Define loot rules as soon as you are invited to a group. Stay if you like them, leave if you don't.

![]() If you had been playing at the beginning of Kunark when most items were upgrades and players didn't have a lot, there were far more NBG groups. In fact, I was the leader of the first group that had a tranquil staff drop and despite being in a group with 2 RL friends and mainly guildies, we gave it to the PUG monk. Now that most people have multiple 60s and tons of items, and you are in the minority being a completely new character, people are not as generous unfortunately.
My advice is meet some friends and group with them more often; then when something drops that you need it is easier to make a point to get it.

![]() Get more friends in your group. It may be a dirty tactic but if three people are rolling for you and three aren't, your chances improve.
Or another option, and I'm guessing this wasn't employed, you could have simply asked for it. It's always worth a shot. There isn't any magnanimity to count on in a pickup group. You might get it, you might not. Some people will take a camp and get a torpor drop, and will give it to the 60 shaman in group. This is great, but it's not to be counted on at all. Grow thicker skin, stay in the group and roll on a zerker cloak when it drops or something. If anyone bitches they don't have a leg to stand on.

![]() The loot rules are what you agree on when you join the group...if you don't like the rules when you join, drop the group. If you don't think to ask before loot drops that is your fault (all you can do is cry about it).
On this server, and on live (I think this thread started like a day after launch in 1999) for that matter, lots of folks---for good reasons---don't like to do NBG. Bottom line, ask when you join a grp. If you can't agree to the rules don't stay in the group.
